I watched Obama speak to the AMA. Every single time I watch Obama I realize more and more the utter contempt he holds in his heart for America and everything that has made our country great. Again, it is nothing short of a miracle that America survived until the day the heavens opened up and delivered to us a saviour, Obama. I am attaching a link to the Obama speech. It has a complete video of the speech as well as a transcript of the speech lifted from the teleprompter. Let us begin reviewing the speech together.

Here is the quote from Obama "From the moment I took office as President, the central challenge we have confronted as a nation has been the need to lift ourselves out of the worst recession since World War II". Big fat lie! The reason he will not admit this is very apparent. The worst recession since World War II was during a Democrat president Jimmy Carter. During the end of Carter unemployment, inflation, and interest rates were all double digit, that means over 10. We are nowhere near close to the numbers. That truly was the worst economy since WW II. To admit this fact would draw attention to the fact that Obama's plans are almost exactly the same as Jimmy Carter. This would point out the fact that all of this has failed before.
The second lie was still in the first paragraph, I quote "In recent months, we have taken a series of extraordinary steps, not just to repair the immediate damage to our economy, but to build a new foundation for lasting and sustained growth. We are creating new jobs. We are unfreezing our credit markets. And we are stemming the loss of homes and the decline of home values". We are creating new jobs? Evey single month since he has taken office the country has lost thousands of jobs, there has not been a single month jobs have increased. Just exactly how is that "creating" new jobs. The stimulus has spent less than 6% of the stimulus money. So that qualifies as extraordinary steps? This is so pathetic.
Then he makes it another paragraph before the next lie. Here it is "Today, we are spending over $2 trillion a year on health care - almost 50 percent more per person than the next most costly nation" Please follow this link to the Health Care costs of the world.

He then goes on to tell a story about a doctor that wastes 20% of his time filling out and explaining health insurance forms. Do you really think the government plan will be less confusing and with less paper work? Every single person in the USA understands anything government is full of paperwork and confusing language. Just look at the IRS, everything there is so clear, lol. If the government is involved the paper work will triple and not get easier, fact!
He talks about out of control health care costs. he points to the rising costs in Medicare and Medicaid. Who is controlling these programs right now? THE GOVERNMENT! I dare you to say they are doing a good job. I personally have dealt with both of these programs do to my taking care of my parents. Believe me when I say they are cold and heartless. This is a true story, not hear say but this happened to me May 1 of this year. My Dad died in a nursing home on May 1st. My Mom was in the same nursing home. They were married for 57 years. I wanted to take my mom home so she would not be alone. If she left that night Medicare would not pay ANY of her medical bills. Do you really want government health care? I don't!
He then goes on to attack the "nay sayers", that would be me. He said the following "But we also know that there are those who will try and scuttle this opportunity no matter what - who will use the same scare tactics and fear-mongering that's worked in the past. They'll give dire warnings about socialized medicine and government takeovers; long lines and rationed care; decisions made by bureaucrats and not doctors". This is not true? Just exactly what is the Government doing with medicare and medicaid? Are they not rationing? Are they not cutting how much doctors are paid? Take this from me, just try to find a doctor accepting new medicare and medicaid patients. Even Walgreens no longer accepts these failed government programs. These, Obama, are actual truths unlike the fear that you spread every day.
I also find it funny that after Obama says that only Government can get control of these costs he offers this gem of an example. And it will take employers following the example of places like Safeway that is rewarding workers for taking better care of their health while reducing health care costs in the process. He further said "It's a program that has helped Safeway cut health care spending by 13 percent and workers save over 20 percent on their premiums". Now hold on just a second, if health care costs are spiraling out of control, how exactly does a company control them? You see the real truth is this, as the costs rise competition provides a natural cap. Yes, our costs are rising and are more than other countries. But the real truth is that people have more money so things just cost more here. This is true with any product or service. The market will charge what the people can afford. We are the number one GDP in the world. Thus, we have more money to spend on things like this. It does not make it enjoyable. But, the costs, are in a way under control. People are looking for ways to save money and this keeps costs from running out of control. the private sector and competition are always the best.
Then in typical hate America Obama fashion he says this "It is a model that has taken the pursuit of medicine from a profession - a calling - to a business" yes evil business! Obama hates capitalism get used to it!
Then after telling us how horrible our health care system is in the USA. And after pointing out how we spend too much on our health care system he says this "We have the best medical schools, the most sophisticated labs, and the most advanced training of any nation on the globe". What? You just finished telling us how horrible our health care system was and now you say we are the best? Make up your mind.
Then after saying the Government was not going to get between you and your doctor he says this "So, one thing we need to do is figure out what works, and encourage rapid implementation of what works into your practices. That's why we are making a major investment in research to identify the best treatments for a variety of ailments and conditions". Gee, that sounds an awful lot like telling doctors what to do to me. Apparently it did to Obama because he then said this "Let me be clear: identifying what works is not about dictating what kind of care should be provided. It's about providing patients and doctors with the information they need to make the best medical decisions". So let me get this right, the government is going to determine what works best. But then they are not going to force anyone to follow their recommendations? The question then is this, why even determine what works best if you are not going to say to use it? It would be just as easy to save the money you waste on figuring out what works, if you are not going to enforce it.
Then after wondering around blaming capitalism for all the wrongs in our health care system he finally gets close to a real problem with health care. This is what he said "Now, I recognize that it will be hard to make some of these changes if doctors feel like they are constantly looking over their shoulder for fear of lawsuits. Some doctors may feel the need to order more tests and treatments to avoid being legally vulnerable. That's a real issue. And while I'm not advocating caps on malpractice awards". You see there, the first real problem with health care and he runs from it. We all know who runs Washington, lawyers. They will never stand for any real reform in ambulance chasing. John Edwards made his fortune robbing people with frivolous lawsuits, now you expect him and his democratic colleges to stop lawsuits? This is truly a place that needs reform so, count on Obama to pass it by. Remember he does not take on real problems, only disasters he can make up.
Then in keeping with his tax cutting lie he says the following "As we seek to contain the cost of health care, we must also ensure that every American can get coverage they can afford. We must do so in part because it is in all of our economic interests. Each time an uninsured American steps foot into an emergency room with no way to reimburse the hospital for care, the cost is handed over to every American family as a bill of about $1,000 that is reflected in higher taxes, higher premiums, and higher health care costs; a hidden tax that will be cut as we insure all Americans". There he said we would cut taxes. Now read the truth.

I really do not have the stomach to read any more of these lies and fabrications. So much of what Obama has said to the American public is a lie. So many times Obama has flipped and flopped I do not know why any person would believe anything he says. Just remember when he passed the stimulus he said it would keep unemployment under 8%, it is now 9.6%. He then said he was wrong in his estimates over this fact. What is going to happen when he is wrong on his health care fantasy? Well, by the time we figure it out, we will be well on the road to bankruptcy. Go back to sleep sheeple, all is well.
