Just a simple question for you. Do you have any common sense? I know just about every single person that reads that question will say they have common sense. If that is so, why is America acting like no one has common sense? Every piece of information is immediately scrutinized for a source. If the source matches your ideology, Liberal or Conservative, you believe it, even if it is obviously a false statement, you believe it. The same the other way, if it is against your ideology, you will dismiss truth as propaganda. No one bothers to use common sense.
Just call this common sense 101. First of all, how do you select who to follow? There are many things I would first look for in a person I was going to follow. Much like when you hire someone for a job. You ask them for references and check their back round. Many of us have been thru this process to get our jobs. Criminal records checks, drug testing, reference letters, you are checked out because your past reflects what you can be expected to do in your new position. Pretty simple and accepted policy by many private industries. So these are the things that tell me, if the person I am following is solid.
So using common sense let us look at the people we follow.
During the campaign many took objection to the people that Obama regularly associated. The mainstream press ran like the little lap dogs they are to protect Obama. He was only 8 when Bill Ayers blew up buildings. He never heard Wright, I refuse to use the word Reverend when I speak of this hate monger and racist, say bad things about America. We were all racist bumpkins for believing that they had any influence on Obama. Now after so many speeches degrading all who came before him. Bashing America at every corner on the world stage. Criticizing the private sector and the free market while talking of the virtues of socialism. I know you will say he is not spreading positive messages about socialism. Well what would you call a man that took over two car companies, nationalized the banking system and now proposes government health care. All the while belittling any person that has the audacity to make money. If it walks like Karl Marx, and talks like Karl Marx, it is Karl Marx. This is simple social studies people!
They also cried racist at any person that dared mention Obama's middle name, Hussein. It was a big debate. Obama regularly defended the fact he was Christian and distanced himself from Islam. Then when he went to Egypt you would think that he prayed to Mecca every single day. Obama himself even used his middle name Hussien. Wonder why he ignored Iran killing it's citizens? I don't!
What about the rest of the blooming band of idiots running this country? You can pick some party line distinctions here. I do believe in the past there was a distinction between Republican and Democrat. Now they are all just rats stealing money and covering their butts. Washington cares only for the survival of the political elite. Sorry, we don't have enough life rafts for the rest of you. Good luck!

Those that do not remember their past are destined to repeat it. Does any one but me get a large feeling of Deja'vu? Look at the history of the people you are following. Here is some history for you.
You can slice this one any way you want it. I am basing it on my observations of life as I have lived it. Democrats love taxing the rich. That is what they say, in reality they love taxing all. Here is a brief history of top tax rates in America. It is from Wikipedia.
In 1913, the tax rate was 1% on taxable net income above $3,000 ($4,000 for married couples), less deductions and exemptions. It rose to a rate of 7% on incomes above $500,000.
During WW I, the top rate rose to 77%; after the war, the top rate was scaled down to a low of 25%.
During the Great Depression and WW II, the top income tax rate rose again. In the Internal Revenue Code of 1939, the top rate was 75%. The top rate reached 94% during the war and remained at 91% until 1964.
In 1964 the top rate was decreased to 70% (1964 Revenue Act), then to 50% in 1981 (Economic Recovery Tax Act or ERTA).
The Tax Reform Act of 1986 reduced the top rate to 28%, at the same time raising the bottom rate from 11% to 15% (in fact 15% and 28% became the only two tax brackets).
During the 1990s the top rate rose again, standing at 39.6% by the end of the decade.
The top rate was cut to 35% and the bottom rate was cut to 10% by the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Act of 2001.(EGTRRA).
Did you notice that when Reagan took office in the US the top tax rate was 70%. unemployment, inflation, and interest rates were all double digit. That truly was the worst economy since the Great Depression. Unlike the lie Obama constantly spreads that this is the worst economy. This terrible place in the economy also occurred after over 40 years of Democrats controlling both the House and the Senate. So Reagan inherited, a word Obama loves because it passes blame, the absolute mess that Jimmy I'm a Democrat Carter left behind. This is the main reason they say it is the worst economy since the Great Depression. They do not want to remind you that a DEMOCRAT Jimmy Carter was in charge of the worst economy since the Great Depression. I was there. I watched Carter do everything Obama is doing now. He talked of conservation and refused to drill. He belittled America at every turn and was weak on world policies. Obama makes Carter look like a great president.
So the past policies of Carter were similar to Obama's and guess what happened to the American economy? Let's put it this way, the economy was so bad they developed a thing called the "misery index" to put in a number how bad it was in America. So in the past Obama's policies FAILED, and they will fail again. Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. America is now officially crazy. Maybe we all just need some anti-depressants.Again, I am just drawing from my lessons in life.
Although there is not much of a distinction between the parties there used to be a difference. There were so many things the Democrats were wrong on, I know as I was there and watched it happen. It is not something I have to read a book and someones opinion to know. The democrats were wrong on all of the following. They were wrong about the way to deal with Russia. They wanted to follow the Carter plan and be nice. Sounds like Obama, doesn't it? They were wrong as Reagan crushed Russia by being strong. You always negotiate from a position of strength.
The Democrats were wrong about "Global Cooling". Don't you mean "Global Warming"? No I said exactly what I meant. In 1975 the Democrats were all over pollution saying it was causing GLOBAL COOLING. They actually said if we did not quit pumping co2 into the atmosphere we were going to cause a NEW ICE AGE. They were WRONG again. So how do you get from New Ice Age to Global Warming in 34 years? Use common sense folks, they are lying to you so they can control your lives.
The democrats also fought tooth and nail over Reagan tax cuts. They dug there heals in and said it would decrease the money in Washington. They said Reagan was crazy. The facts are this, they were really afraid of losing control. The tax cuts doubled and tripled the income to the government and sparked the longest sustained growth of the American economy, FACT! The Democrats were wrong again!
Here is a recent failure many choose not to remember. Obama and the Democrats, and I can say Democrats because all but 3 Republicans voted against it, passed a $787 Billion dollar stimulus which is an abject failure! They said it would create jobs and keep unemployment under 8%. How is that working for you? Well, the economy is still in a nose dive and unemployment is 9.6%. I think it is fair to say this is another Democrat and now Obama, FAILURE! They are even talking of a new stimulus! Just exactly how stupid are you?
I remember life under Democrats. I was forced to put along at 55mph to save gas because were would not drill for our own. I watched as my parents set the house at 68 in the winter and froze my buttocks off. I lived in a time when you actually had to know someone to get a job at a fast food joint. I am sick to death of failed Democrats Socialist ideas! THEY ARE NOT WHAT MADE AMERICA GREAT!!
The Democrats can not point to a single place they have been correct, on anything. They were wrong to start welfare. It has only destroyed the American family and made the Government, mommy and daddy. This country became great because of FREEDOM. Not a government that now has 22 Czars. This country is great because of INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY. Not a Government that takes care of your every want and need. This country is great because of CAPITALISM and RICH PEOPLE that are willing to invest and create jobs. Not because of a Government that is willing to cut down rich people and steal their money at gun point. You say that is and exaggeration, just try not paying your taxes and see how long it takes for men with guns to show at your house. The Socialism that Obama and his merry band of idiots is ramming down our throats will ruin this country. Stand up America before it is too late. The time is now. I am not one for party lines but I think this will send a message. Vote every single Democrat down in the next election. If not a single Democrat wins it will send a very clear message to the King Obama. Or, do nothing and be prepared to lose your freedom in the name of punishing the exact things that made America great. Sleep on sheeple.
